Paprika’s Atlas of Dreams

Speculative & Product Design, Oneiric Opportunities
Named after Satoshi Kon’s film, Paprika, which inspired Christopher Nolan’s Inception, Paprika’s Atlas of Dreams “documents” common themes in the world’s largest co-dreaming session held in 2035.

The Atlas of Dreams came from iterations of an original product, “Nudge-Its,” a paired ring system that encourages people to hold each other accountable to their goals.

Interpersonal accountability for small reminders (such as not forgetting your leftover chicken nuggets in the studio fridge) transformed into collective inspiration through the subconscious. The resulting universe explores the potential of co-dreaming to bring humans together.
