Voyager Danger Records


Branding, Packaging Design, Rapid-Fire Research Inspired by the Voyager Golden Records, launched into space in 1977, the Voyager Danger Records are a contemporary, extraterrestrial time capsule should humanity lose its heritage. 

Each vinyl is inscribed with the 56 properties on UNESCO’s List of World Heritage in Danger. The design of the records, album packaging, and website grew out of the creation of an “Urgency Matrix,” which uses qualitative research and analysis to compare factors endangering each property.
